Sendit.money

Fintech - Blockchain - Remittance - Mobile first

Clear communication

As Sendit.money's co-founder and design director, I was responsible for:

  • Defining the brand identity and visual language

  • Producing all investor and stakeholder communication materials

  • Specifying the end-to-end user experience across web and mobile

Brand creation

"Save every time you Sendit" - this catchy slogan captures the essence of Sendit.money's mission in just six words. The friendly, approachable tone conveys the app's role as a trusted financial companion - like that reliable colleague you can always count on for support. To visually reinforce these attributes of professionalism and familiarity, Sendit.money employs:

  • A clean, highly legible font

  • A warm, inviting color scheme

  • A sleek yet approachable logo design

Cross-border payments with Africa made affordable, fast and secure through the use of stable-coin and the blockchain. A mobile platform for 21st-century Africans.

Together, these branding elements embody the clarity, warmth and quiet strength of the African continent and people. The typography prioritizes readability with ample whitespace, while still injecting personality through font choice. The colors evoke feelings of welcomeness and dependability. And the logo strikes a balance between modern sophistication and relatable humanity. With every touchpoint, Sendit.money strives to be the app you know you can rely on to make saving simple, intuitive and rewarding - because financial empowerment should be within everyone's reach. Saving becomes second nature with a tool that feels like an old friend.

User testing

Sendit.money's development process prioritized rapid iteration and user feedback. Key steps included:

  • Writing code from the project's start

  • Conducting internal testing

  • Gathering feedback from external stakeholders

  • Performing iterative user testing with closed groups on both app stores

The CTO's agile methodology, combined with clear specifications I created, enabled the team to move swiftly from initial sketches to design, development, and user testing.
